It is a profound honor to serve as President of the Rotary Club of Lake Arrowhead for the 2025–2027 term. I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me by the Board and my fellow members, and I am committed to leading with dedication, integrity, and a focus on service. Our club’s success is built on a rich legacy of strong leadership and a membership devoted to Service Above Self, carrying out projects that touch lives and strengthen our community.

This year, my priority is to grow and nurture our membership—welcoming new members while ensuring that each current member feels valued, engaged, and inspired. I aim to foster active participation across all aspects of our club and cultivate a culture centered on service—locally, regionally, and globally. Whether you attend meetings regularly or participate when possible, I encourage everyone to reflect on the reasons they joined Rotary. By embracing opportunities to serve, each of us enriches not only our own Rotary journey but the lives of those we touch.

Rotary is so much more than meetings and luncheons. At the 2025 Rotary International Convention in Calgary, Canada, I witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of clubs around the world. Their work reaffirmed that, together, we have the power to create meaningful change. To maximize our impact, I encourage the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Foundation to allocate resources strategically—supporting initiatives that align with Rotary’s Areas of Focus and Five Avenues of Service.

Rotary International President Francesco Arezzo’s theme for the year, Unite for Good, calls us to come together with humility and shared purpose—transforming not only our communities but also our lives. He reminds us that compassion, generosity, and collaboration empower Rotarians everywhere to accomplish extraordinary things.

Our club’s reputation for vibrant and engaging lunch meetings is well-earned, but our true strength lies in the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment our members bring to every project and event. By expanding social gatherings, service opportunities, and engagement beyond our club, we enhance the Rotary experience for all. Limiting ourselves to routine meetings would only diminish the remarkable potential of our membership.

For the year ahead, my focus includes:

– Encouraging member support of The Rotary Foundation and PolioPlus
